I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment. The complimentary WiFi was a lifesaver for my Instagram addiction, and the private parking made me feel like a fancy VIP. Plus, the continental breakfast options were a pleasant surprise every morning.
Just what I needed, another continental breakfast.

Complimentary WiFi is always a treat, and private parking on-site made me feel like a VIP. The continental and vegetarian breakfast options were a nice touch, although I would have preferred a full English. Towels were provided, because who wants to bring their own on holiday?
I was devastated that they didn't offer a full English breakfast, I mean, who needs continental and vegetarian options when you can have all the bacon and eggs you want? So disappointing.

The apartment at The Rowanberry Suite At Rowan Cottage is simply amazing! The view of the lake from the balcony is breathtaking. The fully equipped kitchenette in the apartment is so convenient for preparing meals. The cozy bedroom with its comfortable bed and soft bed linen made for a restful sleep. I loved having my own private entrance to the apartment.
Personally, I prefer showers over baths, but that's just my preference.

Stunning remote location with breathtaking views of the ocean bay and mountains. The drive there, although challenging, is worth it for the jaw-dropping scenery. The cottage itself is cozy and well-equipped, with a large window to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The host is friendly and helpful, providing a generous breakfast basket and being available to assist with any needs.
The remote location may not be ideal for those wanting to explore Skye, as it requires a fair amount of driving to reach popular locations. The one-lane road to the cottage can be stressful to navigate and may not be relaxing for everyone.

During my recent stay at the cozy and charming cottage by the sea, I had the pleasure of waking up to stunning views of the ocean bay and distant mountains from the large window in the Rowanberry Suite. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking! The hostess had thoughtfully prepared a generous basket of tea, coffee, cookies, cereal, and even Nutella, along with milk. It was such a delightful surprise and made me feel truly at home. The cottage itself was clean, warm, and beautifully appointed, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location, although remote, offered a peaceful and serene environment, perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Plus, the host was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that I had everything I needed throughout my stay.
If you're planning to explore the popular attractions on Skye, it's important to note that the cottage is located a bit far from these areas, requiring a drive of 45 minutes or more. However, the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings more than make up for the distance.

The place was immaculate, the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Ruth, the host, was incredibly hospitable, sending detailed instructions before my arrival. The view from the window was breathtaking and a perfect way to start my day.
Nothing.
